NANS DC REACT,SAYS ZONE A DEPUTY COORDINTOR IS THEIR CHAIRMAN- A DISJOINTED CLAIM"

The National Association Of Nigeria Students Zone Deputy Coordinators says When you brandish a lie thousand of times, people perceive it as being the truth- Adolf Hitler. There is a common saying "Do not reply the senseless,so you won't be taken for one". Another says"Reply the senseless because by so doing, you would have impacted sense". This write up is necessitated out of the pure intent to correct a public notion circulating in the Media corridors speculating how the Chairmanship position of the Deputy Coordinators across the Federation belongs to Lady Comrade Zainab: the Deputy Coordinator of Zone A. We are clearly aware where this notorious claim might have emanated from but we laugh at their insincerity and a less expensive way they intend to use in winning a lost battle. Evil is evil irrespective of the doer. Good is good irrespective of who does it. Our Union in resisting a political witch hunting should not be intentionally interpreted wrongly. The Leag...

NANS VOW NOT TO SELL THE INTEREST OF MANY TO FEW

OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY COORDINATOR;NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERAN STUDENTS(NANS): WE VOW NOT TO SELL THE INTEREST OF MANY TO FEW We are determined. You don't necessarily have to be the majority in fighting a just cause. May the hottest seat in Hell be reserved for those who have chosen to be with the oppressors. It is most disheartening and with a bereaved heart that we write to TOTALLY dissociate self from the absolution of NANS National from an issue that has brought National torment and anguish for many. It gets us confused and highly dumbfounded why an Association high etiquettes of standard has depleted so rapidly over the years. The lust for money, fame and influence has deluded the National Executives of promises they made to the entire Nigerian students. Gone were the days of our founding fathers whose integrity we have dwelled upon till now. It is very unfortunate that those entrusted with the security of hens has perfected plans to snatch away the same entity kept under th...

Wabba told journalists after the parley that the strike would continue until the Federal Government resumed talks with the NLC, under his leadership, on the crisis. The NLC team, however, told the Senate leadership that the workers were ready to go back to the negotiation table with the Federal Government over the fuel matter any time invitation to that effect was extended to them. He debunked reports that labour leaders walked out on the negotiation team of the Federal Government on Tuesday night before the strike commenced on Wednesday. Wabba said, “We are trying to engage government in negotiations essentially about the trade issue, about the electricity tariff but importantly abo...

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS(NANS) "CONSTITUTIONAL BREACH: OUR RESOLUTION NOT TO GIVE IN" Protocols... History would never forgive our silence on the breach of our Constitution by people whose personal political vendetta is making them stampede our internal democracy. Hence,we request for the prevalence of the Constitution's provision as any plan to discard such would spell dismay of our dear Association. No personal political game should be worth insulting the collective intelligence of our past heroes. NANS remains the apex students movement in the country with over 40.1 million students as its member. Our students are keenly watching and thus we should be mindful and considerate of whatever we do. The attention of the Zonal Coordinators has been called to the lackadaisical and barbaric act of the Zone A axis by treating the interpretation of the Constitution with contempt. The ugly act which was born out of the alleged misconducts of the Deputy Coordinator ...
