Ekiti state university clears Air on students' Revalidation Exercise

Image
The Management of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti has explained in clear terms the requirements from all bonafide undergraduates and Postgraduate students for the revalidation of studentship status which is on-going across all the faculties in the University.  This becomes imperative following various on line false reports and incorrect claims that Management is requesting all kinds of back dated payments of fees for the exercise.  The Authority of Ekiti State University (EKSU) has emphasized the requirements for the revalidation exercise as stated below: 1) Evidence of payment of school fees covering all academic sessions up to date; 2) Evidence of payment of acceptance fees at the point of admission; 3) Evidence of payment of Faculty levies up to date; 4) Evidence of payments of SUG, Faculty and  Departmental Associations’ dues for the current academic session only; 5) Students while on I.T., are exempted from payment of smart school fee. NAOSS (OSUN) ; OUR FUTURE IN THE HANDS OF PEOPLE WITH QUESTIONABLE CHARACTER : COMR ALABI QUADRI OLUWASEUN

My heart aches seeing the future of a nation getting darker day by day. Where I was trained as comrade made me believe in every situation a comrade finds himself, the interest of the student populace should come first. Today I have decided to write my first article on NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF OSUN STATE STUDENTS* issue. I hope we all see this piece as a way to a beter NAOSS and the entire student of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso. LAUTECH strike has become a yearly festival that must be observed and a way out has never been proffered by both owners (Osun and Oyo state). All they are able to do is shift blames and putting up our education as a political stunt. Recently, there has been crisis in the institution and the Oyo State government has been busy putting the blame on Osun State government. My concern is never on shifting of blame in this piece but on Comrades who sees student organisation as a means of enriching their pocket and possibly to get political appoint

JUNE 12TH AS DEMOCRACY DAY IS NEEDLESS; ITS A SQUARE PEG IN A ROUND HOLE : OLOGBENLA ADEDOYIN

Image
It is needless... In my own opinion, the declaration of June 12 as the new democracy day in Nigeria is needless. It only opens the door for further future changing of the date, in the sense that any other elected president can decide to wake up one day and pick another date that marks another touching event in history as pertaining to elections to commemorate democracy.  We can't keep tampering with history to score some political points. AM I AWARE THAT JUNE 12 1993 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION WAS ADJUDGED TO BE THE NIGERIA'S FREEST AND FAIREST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION BY NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS AND IT WAS SUPPOSED TO USHER IN CHIEF  MOSHOOD KASHIMAWO OLAWALE ABIOLA WHO HAD AN OVERWHELMING VICTORY? Yes. VERY WELL. I'm aware and I agree that Late Chief M.K.O ABIOLA was no doubt a symbol of democracy considering how he was able to secure a support that cut across geopolitical zones and religious divisions and later emerge as the winner of the presidential elec

The former SNP presidential candidate accused Nigerian youths of not backing young persons for the presidency. He regretted his lack of resources to compete with the APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). It would be recalled that Ahmed Buhari was once a member of the main opposition PDP but left for the SNP to fulfill his
