Face of African concept: Sen Ademola Adeleke bags Icon Award

Far away at the federal capital territory.... two days back, distinguished Senator Ademola Adeleke was honored with an African icon award at the 4th edition of the award organized by the face of African Concept.

The award which was in recognitions of his philanthropy act and contributions to human development, most especially in the education sector and entertainment industry since he assumed office a year ago as a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria.

The Senator representing osun west senatorial district at the red chamber of the National assembly, senator Demola Jackson Adeleke thanks the organizer of the event for recognizing his good works towards human development and dedicated the award to the good people of osun state and most especially the downtrodden civil servants who despite their committment to service over the years has found the reward hard to come by with a modulated salary the only rewards for their hard work and dedication. Otunba Ademola Adeleke who is a governorship hopeful in the state enjoy the state work force and the entire people to remain steadfast and cast their votes to any governorship aspirants of the people democratic party even though with God the performing Senator is bound to be the "poster candidate" of the party to put an end to the unwarranted suffering and bring back the long lost glory of our dear state of the living spring.

Although the lively Senator who was not on hand to receive the special award as a result of his busy schedule down here in the state ahead of the forthcoming osun PDP governorship primary where our own "Imole and Mr assurance" is expected to proof the bookmakers right by clinching the one and only main ticket of the party was in elated mood to have bagged the very important award.

Less than 48 hours after a major fire outbreak caused by a fuel tanker explosion in the commercial city of Onitsha, killing about seven people and destroying shops. Another fire outbreak has surfaced about five minutes ago today, destroyed properties worth millions of naira. ‘Dwarf planet’ discovered in distant Solar System

A rare “dwarf planet” 18 times smaller than Earth, has been discovered in the distant Solar System on an eccentric orbit far beyond Neptune, astronomers said Tuesday. Dubbed RR245, the icy world is currently about 9.7 billion kilometres (six billion miles) from the Sun — 65 times further than Earth, said astronomer Jean- Marc Petit of France’s CNRS research institute. “But its orbit is very elliptical, and it will be 19 billion km at its furthest point” from our star,” he told AFP. At the closest approach on its 700-year orbit, the planet will pass the Sun at a distance of some five billion km. Dwarf planets fall into a six-year-old category of celestial bodies. They are smaller than ordinary planets and orbit the Sun at a much greater distance, travelling in a zone littered with other objects like asteroids.
