The NANS National Convention that brought students across the federation since Thursday was totally disrupted after the election of the Convention Chairman. As traditional demands  Accreditation of Senators (SUG's President/Representative) was perfectly done yesterday (Sunday)/earlier this morning (Monday) and thereafter the election of the Convention Chairman was contested by four people and was perfectly conducted and brought in Prince Maiphem as the 2016 Convention Chairman. After minutes of recess the Convention Chairman called for the election proper and nominations begins until the Convention were forcefully disrupted by some unknown elements. It is very important to note that our zone came to the Convention and the Convention produced a Convention Chairman. it is also very important to note that we have not elected any aspirant for any elected offices, as both the outgoing National officers and the Convention Planning Committee remain dissolved.
